"If you can draw in the sand, you can draw in WURM," promises Anna Oguienko of her generative art app. The Toronto-based digital designer has stocked WURM with gorgeous shapes and palettes that come alive with movements of the user's fingers. Far from just another creative utility, the app is more like a dreamy dose of art therapy that happens to result in abstract patterns that are suitable for framing -- or at least for elevating to the status of desktop wallpaper. Try importing WURM into other apps, such as Instagram or Percolator, and play with the outcomes.
