Take a whirlwind tour through contemporary graphic design in a major exhibition on view through September 3 on Governors Island in New York City. From posters and branding to typography and film titles, "Graphic Design: Now in Production" explores how graphic design has broadened its reach dramatically over the past decade. Co-organized by curators at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and the Walker Art Center, the show features a stunning selection of design-driven magazines and infographics along with designer-created goods and some of the freshest logos out there, all produced since 2000.
