Cecily Ink prides itself on bringing modern elegance to the craft of communication. Graphic designer Alex Winjin started her line after passing out classy card files to friends one holiday. As demand grew, a lucrative business was born. Inspired by Winjin's Dutch heritage and childhood in Northern Europe, the letterpressed pieces are clean, modern and simple. In addition to the cards, Winjin has also mastered the perfect why-didn't-I-think-of-that idea—personalized stamps so your correspondence can be completely coordinated. This way, you can even add that touch of elegance when paying your bills.

Nicole Chiala and Kristina de Corpo grew up in what they describe as "pastoral America"—the rolling hills of Northern California and Midwestern plains of Minnesota. Eventually they found themselves in L.A., creating screen-printed designs inspired by the flora and fauna of their youth, as well as by botanicals collected on walks and from their own gardens. Now working with a textile company, their designs are available on a much larger scale as bedding, pillows and prints … so you can wrap yourself in willows, tuck wildflowers under your head and gaze at a dandelion's fluff as you drift off to sleep at night.

The quest for good-looking, quality toys never seems to end once you have a little one in tow, and Blind Man's Bluff delivers on all counts. Their attractive toys—made of blonde wood—are simple and safe, and furniture from cribs to bookcases certainly won't make baby suffer for lack of style. The bathroom toys are the best: A giant frog holds accessories while suctioned to the wall, and especially intriguing is an ultra-modern toilet kit that includes storage—so potty-training toddlers have everything they need to do the deed. Ugly Dolls and some incredibly inventive hand puppets round out this modern miniature menagerie.
